Kerry’s Slander of Israel

Team Obama’s relentless effort to isolate, undermine and coerce America’s most important ally in the Middle East has reached a new – and appalling – zenith.

Secretary of State John Kerry told a closed-door meeting of the secretive and controversial Trilateral Commission last week that Israel risks becoming an “apartheid state.” By so doing, he associated the U.S. government with the campaign of vilification and delegitimation of the Jewish State in which her enemies – and ours – relentlessly engage.

Senator Ted Cruz has rightly called for Secretary Kerry immediately to submit his resignation, and for President Obama to accept it. That would be a good first step towards the needed, fundamental course correction towards Israel – whereby America once again stands by and helps defend, not defame, its fellow democracy and valued ally.
