Member of Texas Antifa group arrested at Republican Convention linked to terror-tied online propaganda network

The arrest of two local Texas Antifa members may open a window into an online network engaged in material support for the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI), a group designated by the Trump Administration as a foreign terrorist group.

Two members of an Antifa group, “The Community Liberation Brigade,” were arrested for assault with bodily injury and obstructing a highway after a protest outside of the Republican midterms in Dallas, Texas. They were identified by journalist Andy Ngo as Hunter David Holmes, AKA “Doberman” and Adrian Paul Garcia, who appears to operate under the pseudonym “Frot-Dog” and “Mono” and who posts on Instagram under the handle “@anarcho_puppy_girlism_.”[1]

This information was confirmed by online posts directing supporters to provide bail and jail support funds through a PayPal account associated with Holmes[2] and through the Collins County jail commissary system under the name Adrian Paul Garcia.[3]

Under the alias Frot-Dog, Garcia appears to also manage the Instagram account “Conspiracy of Cells of Frotting,” username @cc.frotting.[4] This is likely a reference to the Conspiracy of the Cells of Fire (CCF), a Greek insurrectionary anarchist terror group that conducted hundreds of fire bombings and mail bombings from 2008 to 2017. The CCF also played a key role in establishing the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI), an Italy-based anarcho-nihilist network with cells in multiple countries from Mexico to Indonesia. Anarcho-nihilism is a form of post-left anarchism that views not just the capitalist system but all of society as oppressive and in need of being destroyed.

“Frotting” is a slang term for a homosexual sex act, according to the online website Urban Dictionary.

The @cc.frotting account describes itself as a nihilist “Zine and Art Collective” and names three members, “Frot-Dog”, identified as Garcia, as well as a “Miserable” and a “Nydia.”[5]

@cc.frotting uses a logo associated with the CCF, and regularly posts video imagery promoting the FAI, including video imagery of historic FAI terror attacks spliced with more recent U.S. based attacks, including the attack on the Prairieland Ice Detention Center in July of 2025, and the murder of the United Healthcare CEO by Luigi Mangione.[6]

The account also links a video entitled “Stop Protesting and Become a Rebel,” describing the FAI and encouraging individuals to carry out attacks in the organization’s name, noting that “a person is a member of FAI only when they carry out an action under the name of FAI…”[7]

The Individuals behind the @cc.frotting account are clearly aware of FAI’s terror designation, as they reposted a July 22^nd , 2026 video from another anarcho-nihilist account, “No Future Distro,” (username @nofuturedistr0).

The video celebrated the designation with a clip of the U.S. government press conference regarding the designations, together with the FAI logo and images of rioting.[8] That post was a collab with other anarcho-nihilist accounts, [9] including @nihilistgirlmemes and @nihilistgf161, which appear to be run by the same person. The 161 in the name references Antifa.

It is reasonable to assess that @Nihilistgf161 and @nofuturedistr0 are administered by the same person, as No Future Distro links to Cashapp under the username @Desbandit161,[10] while @nihilistgf161 also directs individuals to the same CashApp. @nihilistgf161 goes by the name “Des” on X.[11]

Until September 2026, No Future Distro shared a zine authored by CCF members on its “NoBlogs” site entitled “Let’s Become Dangerous: For the Diffusion of the Black International,” which promotes and advocates for the FAI.[12]

“No Blogs” is the blogging suite provided by the A/I Collective, itself a recently designated foreign terrorist organization earlier this month.

@nihilistgf161 account runs a channel on Instagram for posting anarcho-nihilist and Antifa materials with over 300 members, including @cc.frotting.[13]  @nihilisttgf161 appears close to @cc.frotting, as each account shared a meme in the other’s name.[14]

Also collaborating on the July 22nd video post is “Dirty Badger Collective US” (username: @dirty_badger_collective_us), which purports to be the Appalachia-based chapter of an international collective and which utilizes a modified version of the CCF logo.[15]

On July 1^st, 2026, the Dirty Badger Collective published a video montage featuring Angeliki Spyropoulo[16], an anarchist imprisoned in Greece over an alleged jail break attempt orchestrated by the CCF, and intending to extract Chirstodoulos Xeros, a convicted member of the foreign terrorist organization November 17, a group responsible for the death of multiple Americans.

On July 2^nd, 2026, @dirty_badger_collective_us posted a video promoting CCF terror attacks and highlighting jailed CCF figures, along with the quote:

We don’t need heroes, we need comrades who light fires with their ideas. By keeping Sebastian and all the other comrades who fell in combat alive in our memory we are keeping the struggle alive. A struggle against power in which prison or death are often the price. But as it is written: “Five free birds began the journey to the south, only one arrived, but what their journey taught them was that it was worth trying to fly…”

@dirty_badger_collective_us collabed with @cc.frotting and @anarcho_puppygirlism_ in both of the posts seeking jail support funding for Garcia and Holmes.[18]

All of these accounts regularly interact online with @cc.frotting, and all regularly post propaganda material in support of the CCF and FAI.

This network also regularly interacts with anarcho-nihilist Instagram accounts overseas, particularly from Indonesia, where FAI cells have actively attacked the Indonesian government and corporate targets. One of the most influential Indonesian anarchist accounts is @staatskonflikt, and its English counterpart, @conflict_State. @nihilistgf161 recently shared a post urging its audience to follow @Staatskonflikt.[19] @dirty_badger_collective_us and @nihilistgf161 have repeatedly collabed with the @conflict_state Account.[20]

On its Instagram account, @staatskonflikt uses its header to advertise the Palang Hitam International (Indonesian Anarchist Black Cross), which supports jailed Indonesian anarchists, while the @conflict_State header is a link to Dark Nights, an online Anarchist distro which supplies pro-FAI and Pro-CCF materials, and appears to be a reincarnation or mirror of the 325 Anarchist network, which was targeted by British law enforcement in 2020 for apparent links to FAI.

Dark Nights is hosted on “No Blogs”, the blogging suite provided by the designated SDGT A/I Collective, where it regularly posts updates on developments related to Indonesian anarchism.

In a post, the Indonesian Anarchist Black Cross identified its close ties to the Dark Nights distro, describing it as one of the few organizations authorized to provide genuine financial information to willing donors, and referencing the ongoing prosecution against a jailed FAI-linked anarchist, known by his alias, “Eat.”[21]

In conclusion, this arrest by local police enforcing the law against Antifa actors on the streets of Dallas has inadvertently opened a window into an online network that engages in propaganda on behalf of a designated terrorist organization across national borders.

While First Amendment protections broadly protect political speech, even when that speech contains non-imminent or generalized encouragement to violence, case law on material support for terrorism has held that providing propaganda and other online media services on behalf of foreign terrorist organizations can result in prosecutions. Federal prosecutors have successfully indicted and convicted terrorist supporters for providing such services to ISIS, for example, including for translating existing ISIS materials.

Given that FAI functions similarly to ISIS –in that individuals who are inspired by propaganda effectively “self-recruit” into the organization– such propaganda networks like the one associated with @cc.frotting and the Community Liberation Brigade arguably serve as a core function of the otherwise amorphous group of anarchist terror cells.
