Clare Lopez explains how Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s AKP (justice & development) party is closely aligned with HAMAS, “which has at least one operational espionage cell operating in Turkey against Israel.”

“It is obviously deeply anti-Israel, the government of Turkey,” and is “openly discussing re-establishing the Ottoman empire,” Lopez said. They plan to carry this out through Jihad. “What Turkey is doing, through the AK party, on U.S. soil, I think is another order of magnitude of concern.”

Lopez touches on the USCMO (U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations) and explains how they are “very much sponsored by, and under the aegis of the Turkish Muslim Brotherhood AK party” and “are very closely aligned.” Among the various groups that make up the USCMO,  “is CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) which as we know is HAMAS, the HAMAS branch in the United States… The relationship between the Turkish government and its AK party, ruling party, Erdoğan’s party, and the USCMO is a very close one,” Lopez says.

Switching gears to NATO, Lopez notes how Turkey should be considered an “Ally No More” as they have drastically changed from the ally they were during the Cold War. Unfortunately, Lopez notes, “I don’t know that the Trump Administration understands much of what we’ve been discussing tonight, either about the Muslim Brotherhood over there, or the role it’s playing over here.”

Watch the whole interview where Clare Lopez dives deeper into the Turkish government’s relations with the USCMO and Muslim Brotherhood, and why this relationship should be concerning to all Americans, despite it flying, for the most part, under the radar.
