The much-ballyhooed “April Fool’s Deal” on Iran’s nuclear weapons program has been controversial for many months. Critics have persuasively warned that what’s emerged is a “bad deal.” President Obama and his partisans insist that it’s “better than no deal.”

But, the real question is “what deal”?

Iranian expatriate Amir Taheri warned in the New York Post on Saturday (https://nypost.com/2015/04/04/translated-version-of-iran-deal-doesnt-say-what-obama-claims-it-does/) that we don’t actually have a single text of an agreement. “All we have is a number of contradictory statements by various participants in the latest round of talks in Switzerland, which together amount to a diplomatic dog’s dinner.”

In short, Team Obama’s assurances about having achieved even the modest goal of slowing an Iranian nuclear breakout are being rejected in the mullahs’ versions. The President is once again perpetrating national security fraud.
