Obama’s Litmus Test for His New Administration

President Obama seems to have a worrisome litmus test for staffing his new administration.  The recently installed Secretaries of State and Defense, the White House Chief of Staff and the CIA Director all have in common an eagerness to embrace our Islamist foes.

Now, Mr. Obama reportedly will appoint as his Secretary of Labor someone who literally did that in October 2011.  While serving as one of the Justice Department’s top officials, Perez jumped onto a stage to physically hug Mohamed Magid, the president of the largest Muslim Brotherhood front in the United States.

Last June, five Members of Congress asked the Inspector General of the Justice Department to investigate Magid’s role in aligning U.S. policy with the Brotherhood’s preferences.  He refused.  The Senate must establish the truth before confirming Tom Perez.
