No U.S. president since the founding of contemporary Israel has been more hostile to the Jewish State than Barack Obama. He has repeatedly: demeaned its elected leader; demanded that it make suicidal territorial concessions; and aided and abetted its enemies by embracing the Muslim Brotherhood, abroad and at home.

This week, it appears Team Obama has decided to add economic warfare to its hostile actions against Israel. At least that is the practical effect of the Federal Aviation Administration’s direction to U.S. airlines to suspend flight operations at Ben Gurion International Airport. Senator Ted Cruz wants to know whose idea that was.

Undermining our friends and emboldening our enemies like Hamas have been hallmarks of the Obama presidency. In Israel’s necessary death struggle with such jihadists, there is no room for either.
