Reject General Brown

The U.S. military is at a tipping point. It faces for the first time in decades the prospect of a possibly imminent shooting war with an adversary – the Chinese Communist Party – prepared to fight kinetically with both quantitative and qualitative advantages. At the same time, its civilian and uniformed leadership is preoccupied with imposing on our armed forces a Marxist makeover that is ravaging morale and devastating retention, recruiting, readiness and deterrence.

Fortunately, the United States Senate has an immediate opportunity to begin the restoration of America’s military greatness by rejecting an exemplar of commanders dedicated to advancing the so-called “woke” agenda: General Charles “C.Q.” Brown, President Biden’s nominee to become the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

In his present role as Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Brown has aggressively endorsed such key elements of that agenda as: hiring and promotion based on race and ethnicity quotas, not merit; fraught accommodations to service personnel with transgender disorders; mandatory COVID “jabs” with inadequately tested and highly problematic “vaccines”; and the indoctrination of Air Force Academy and other personnel with “critical race theory” nostrums.
