Two million members of the National Rifle Association are being asked to vote on whether or not they want an individual tied to convicted terrorists and other Muslim Brotherhood operatives to remain on the organization’s Board of Directors. The answer should be a no-brainer.

But some prominent figures – several with long ties to the NRA – are currently rallying to the defense of anti-tax activist Grover Norquist. They deny evidence of his involvement with jihadists like Abdurahman Alamoudi, Sami al-Arian and other Islamic supremacists.

Others, like Glenn Beck, former Attorney General Michael Mukasey, former Director of Central Intelligence James Woolsey and retired Lieutenant General Jerry Boykin have found the evidence persuasive, and very troubling.

The NRA is too important an organization for it to be lending legitimacy to – and implicated in – the help Grover Norquist has given our enemies.
