Webinar: The New Palestinian Violence Against Israel

The Center for Security Policy held an important webinar on May 14 to discuss the recent Palestinian violence that is posing the worst challenge to Israel’s security – both externally and internally – in decades.

The purpose of this webinar was to provide on-the-ground and in-depth analysis of this crisis facing one of America’s most important and closest allies so our viewers could fully understand the seriousness of this situation and to counter the incredibly biased, anti-Israel coverage of this crisis in the mainstream media.

Center President Fred Fleitz moderated this panel. He was joined by Center for Security Policy Senior Fellow Caroline Glick, who participated from Israel, and Center analysts David Wurmser and Maya Carlin.

Caroline Glick is a senior columnist at Israel Hayom and the author of The Israeli Solution: A One-State Plan for Peace in the Middle East. From 1994 to 1996, she served as a core member of Israel’s negotiating team with the Palestine Liberation Organization.  Glick served in the Israel Defense Forces and was as an Assistant Foreign Policy Advisor to Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Glick is the host of a new news show, The Caroline Glick Mideast News Hour which you can watch on YouTube. This program also is posted at center’s website and on CarolineGlick.com, where you will also find Glick’s analysis of the situation in Israel.

Dr. David Wurmser is a Center Senior Analyst and Director of the Center’s Project on Global Anti-Semitism and the U.S.-Israel Relationship. He also is a senior fellow at the Kohelet Policy Forum and executive and founding member of Delphi Global Analysis Group.  Wurmser had an extensive career in U.S. government national security positions, including 11 years of intelligence experience in the U.S. Navy Reserves.  He holds a Ph.D. in U.S. foreign policy and Middle East affairs from the Johns Hopkins University.  Click HERE and HERE to read Dr. Wurmser’s recent analysis of the Palestinian violence in Israel.
