We lost two Great Americans last weekend. Their deaths would have been mourned at any time, but especially so in this perilous moment.

The first was a storied military leader, one-hundred-year-old Army Major General John Singlaub, Jack was a Special Forces warrior who performed extraordinary feats as a member of the Office of Strategic Services in World War II, during the Chinese civil war, in Korea and Vietnam. His courage and unwavering opposition to Communism were inspirations to countless others here and around the world.

The second was Larry Greenfield, a much younger man, but also  a life-long freedom-fighter. While Larry served as a naval intelligence officer, he will be most remembered for his many non-kinetic contributions in the War of Ideas on behalf of our exceptional country and its most important ally, Israel.

God bless these departed national treasures.

This is Frank Gaffney.
