White House Marks “40 Years Of Failure” Four Decades Since Iranian Revolution
American officials blasted the Iranian regime as they marked forty years since the 1979 Iranian revolution.
President Trump tweeted the following graphic describing the past four decades as “40 Years Of Failure.”
40 years of corruption. 40 years of repression. 40 years of terror. The regime in Iran has produced only #40YearsofFailure. The long-suffering Iranian people deserve a much brighter future. pic.twitter.com/bA8YGsw9LA

“This week Iran marks the 40th anniversary of the Islamic revolution, and what a 40 years it’s been: Tyrannizing it’s own people and terrorizing the world,” National Security Advisor John Bolton declared in a video.
“So Ayatollah Khamenei, for all your boasts, for all your threats to the life of the American president, you are responsible for terrorizing your own people and terrorizing the world as a whole,” Bolton asserted at the video’s conclusion, adding, “I don’t think you’ll have many more anniversaries to enjoy.”

Florida Senator Marco Rubio also called out the country on Twitter:
For 40 years, the peoples of #Iran have suffered under the criminality, corruption & human rights abuses of Tehran’s terror-sponsoring autocracy. They have a right to self-determination & deserve a representative gov’t that respects their human dignity & the impartial rule of law
