Supporters of cop-killers and Middle Eastern terrorists are planning a major demonstration against FBI Headquarters in Washington on June 29, the day after FBI Director Robert Mueller is scheduled to address a group that supports Hamas and Hezbollah and won’t denounce Al Qaeda.

Masquerading as civil rights groups under the International ANSWER Coalition, the protest leaders are members of the Workers World Party (WWP), a Marxist-Leninist fringe group founded in support of the North Korean government, and now under the wing of activist Ramsey Clark.

The rally’s mascot is Lynne Stewart, the lawyer who faces 40 years in prison as an alleged collaborator with convicted 1993 World Trade Center bomber Sheik Omar Abdel Rahman.

Organizers plan to protest the FBI’s anti-terrorist activity, and to push for the release of convicted cop-killers Mumia Abu-Jamal and Imam Jamil Al-Amin (a.k.a. H. Rap Brown), who respectively murdered Philadelphia Police Officer Daniel Faulkner and Georgia Sheriff’s Deputy Ricky Kinchen; and Leonard Peltier, who murdered FBI Special Agents Jack Coler and Ronald Williams. The organizers call the killers “political prisoners.”

FBI Director Mueller is under increasing pressure not to lend credibility to the pro-terrorist group that he will address on the 28th, apparently because political operatives have convinced him that the sponsor is “the most mainstream Muslim group in the United States.”
