Courts Should Ignore Bad Advice from Discredited Advisors

Ten senior ex-officials have told a federal court that there is no national security justification for President Trump’s executive order restricting immigration. Their arguments don’t pass the giggle test.

For starters, this affidavit’s authors contend that there’s “no specific threat” to justify the President’s order. But the point of the Trump initiative is to try to protect us against potential jihadists, not just “known wolves.”

These overrated former muck-a-mucks – like John Kerry, Madeleine Albright and Susan Rice – also claimed that the new administration hasn’t proven its predecessor’s “vetting process was inadequate.” But Obama’s law enforcement, intelligence and homeland security chiefs said they couldn’t adequately vet Syrian refugees.

Finally, we’re told Trump’s order will prove the Islamic State’s claim that “we are at war with Islam.” Actually, it’s needed because Islam’s Sharia requires its followers to be at war with us.
