Extending Gaza cease-fire would benefit Hamas more than Israel: Wurmser
Despite nearly 40 hostages being released, challenges remain with the Hamas terrorist group “playing games” and not fulfilling its promises. Hamas is seeking a ceasefire to regroup, while Israel is demanding the safe return of more hostages. The potential restart of the war is looming, with Israel determined to prevent Hamas from surviving strategically and as a regional force.
David Wurmser, a senior analyst for Middle East affairs at the Center for Security Policy, joined NTD to discuss the Gaza cease-fire extension.
