Grant Newsham on US-China tensions

Senior Fellow Grant Newsham joined Tim Ventura to discuss the increase in tensions between the U.S. and China since the Biden administration has taken office.

Grant Newsham currently serves as a corporate and governmental advisor and lecturer on Asia/Pacific defense matters and business risks posed by organized crime, money laundering, and political instability.

Grant currently serves as a Senior Research Fellow at the Japan Forum for Strategic Studies, and has prior experience in risk management for Morgan Stanley Japan, security management at Motorola Japan, and US Foreign Service work in Washington DC and Tokyo.

Grant retired at the rank of Col. In 2014 following a 30-year career in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and holds a Juris Doctor from the University of California.
