IDF casualties increasing as Israel exercises extreme care in Southern Gaza campaign
The Israel Defense Forces’ offensive in Southern Gaza is seeing the increased use of infantry units without preparatory airstrikes. IDF personnel are now going house to house and engaging in hand-to-hand combat in the South—which has meant a dramatic increase in the number of IDF casualties.
That’s according to David Wurmser, a senior analyst for Middle East affairs at the Center for Security Policy, who joined NTD to discuss the situation on the ground in Israel.
