Mainstream media rushed to judgment following alleged Gaza hospital ‘attack’: Shideler
Uncertainty still surrounds the reported “attack” on the al-Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza city. The death toll and who was responsible have still not been determined with absolute certainty.
Kyle Shideler, the director and senior analyst for homeland security and counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy, told NTD that mainstream media rushed to pass judgment on the attack, claiming it was the result of an Israeli airstrike. Israel, however, vehemently denied the allegations, with the Israel Defense Forces stating the explosion was the result of a misfired rocked set off by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, a group linked to the Hamas terrorist organization.
