In the midst of one of the most dangerous periods in our nation’s history and on the heels of the precipitous decline in American prestige and security, The Center for Security Policy is working hard to restore the Reagan philosophy of “Peace Through Strength.” One method by which The Center accomplishes this is through National Security Action Summits at the state level. These events bring together some of the nation’s top national security experts, state lawmakers and influential leaders, and presidential candidates to discuss four of the most important national security topics facing our nation today:
- The Hollowing Out of the U.S. Military
- The Threat from Iran, the Global Jihad Movement, and its animating ideology –Shariah
- Immigration Insecurity
- Threats to the U.S. Electric Grid and Our Nation’s Critical Infrastructure
These Summits have so far taken place in South Carolina, Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada, have featured top national security practitioners and a number of Presidential Candidates, and have been important issue forums for the strengthening of future defense and foreign policies.
