Vladimir Putin has signed a decree to call up army and secret service reservists as the Russia-Ukraine crisis continues to simmer.
Videos show the arrival of evacuees in Russia from eastern Ukraine ahead of feared military conflict in the separatist Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Further footage shows attack helicopters flying in Belarus and heavy weaponry moving in Russia’s Voronezh and Belgorod regions which shares a border with Ukraine, amid Western fears that a full-scale war in Europe is now imminent.
The Putin decree on reservists could see tens of thousands ordered into uniform at a time when Russia has 150,000 or more troops surrounding Ukraine.
