Egypt unlikely to abandon peace treaty with Israel over Rafah assault: Wurmser
The Associated Press has reported that if Israel invades Rafah, Egypt will abandon a major peace treaty with Israel. According to Israeli Army Radio, however, Egypt has conveyed that these reports are not true.
David Wurmser, an analyst for Middle East affairs at the Center for Security Policy, told NTD that Egypt is unlikely to abandon the peace treaty with Israel over the Israel Defense Forces’ Rafah assault.
