Why US optimism on cease-fire deal should be taken with a grain of salt: Wurmser
Secretary of State Antony Blinken says Israel has agreed to a “bridging proposal” for a cease-fire deal, and that it’s now up to the Hamas terrorist group to do the same. Blinken is meeting with officials from Egypt and Qatar in Cairo on Tuesday having met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Jerusalem Monday. But how close are they really to reaching a deal?
